How a Free Estimate Works
Call or send the form and we'll arrange a time to come out. At the visit we look at the tree with you, check its health, what's underneath it and any wires nearby, and tell you what it needs. The price is explained before any work starts, and nothing happens until you say yes. Clean-up is part of every job.
Is it a street tree? In the City of Madera, property owners are responsible for the street trees in front of their property, and removing one generally means replacing it with a City-approved species. The City asks owners to contact Parks and Community Services on (559) 661-5495 for approval.
What to Tell Us When You Call
Tell us where the property is (the ZIP code is enough to start with) and what you'd like done, whether that's trimming, taking a tree down or grinding out a stump. Give us a rough idea of the tree's size and what it's close to, such as the house, a fence or the driveway. Mention any wires: if branches touch the service wire to your house, PG&E can switch your power off for a short time, at no charge, while the work is done, and trees near the lines between the poles are PG&E's to trim. If a tree is leaning or has a cracked limb, say so, and photos by email help us see it before we arrive.
